Neutral, warm colors, pastels and earth colors are best suitable for walls, ceiling and bedroom furniture.

Furniture:  Space-saving is everybody’s mantra today, and the only way you can do it is by making your furniture multi-task. For example, make the trunk of drawers in your bedroom double up as a cupboard. Maybe couple of the drawers can purpose as a shoe rack. Having an easy to pull out rattle bed in your kids’ room will accommodate both your children without negotiating on space. Consider an extra cabinet or storage space inside your bedroom or den; they are zones that typically invite litter. It is important to always have your room neat and clutter free.

Doors and windows: People often don’t think much about the doors and windows. However, these have an enormous influence on the frontage as well as the interior design. Besides, these are responsible for light, air and security. For the most practical choice, choose UPVC windows that are water-proof, termite-proof, dust-proof, sound-proof and safe. Use French Windows or bay windows where you want a beautiful sight.

Blinds and curtains: Some of us want our bedrooms to be dark even late in the day especially when we sleep late. Thus some of us put up very dark curtains.  A deep colored curtain against a light colored wall comes very strong. It is better to have your walls a shade darker and the curtain a little lighter to lessen the contrast. An alternative is to use two layered curtains instead one that is very dark.
